Viaform Non-Corrosive Liquid De-Icer - 15 Litre Jerry Can

This non corrosive and user-friendly de-icer comes supplied in a 15 Litre Jerry Can which has an integrated handle for easy carrying and pouring. This potassium formate based solution has been developed to effectively clear airport runways, railway platforms and other corrosion sensitive areas free from ice and snow.

Viaform works to very low temperatures and possesses an even particle size which enables resourceful spreading in a liquid format. Along with de-icing thinner ice layers, it can also be used as a preventive application ahead of impending bad weather.

Viaform is not harmful to humans, animals or plants meaning it can be spread in places with a large amount of wildlife and foliage. It possesses a lower oxygen demand than urea, glycol and potassium acetate based de-icers.

This environmentally-friendly de-icer is not based on any nitrogen salts and will therefore not contribute to the eutrophication of lakes and rivers. Eutrophication is when a body of water becomes overly enriched with minerals and nutrients which facilitate the excessive growth of algae.

Optional Extras

There are three different sprayers available as optional add-ons. They provide an economical solution for the controlled application of liquid de-icer.

The R300 and R301 are both handheld sprayers which require 25% fewer pumps per gallon than competitor products. The R301 also features a 24 inch brass wand, making it practical for treating hard to reach areas.

The Performance Field King Pro Sprayer is a backpack sprayer suitable for use all year round. It comes with a 15 litre capacity tank and a lightweight 21 inch poly wand which enables surfaces to be covered quickly and efficiently from a distance.
