Our rubbish chutes provide a safe and easy way to remove any waste or excess materials from building or construction sites.
 
This top hopper helps direct rubbish/rubble into a connecting rubbish chute. This minimises any overspill of waste or debris.

The top hopper is manufactured from high quality polyethylene plastic and is produced as a one piece moulding. This material provides extremely strong and weather resistant products that are resilient from abrasion and maintain rigidity in all conditions. The slight tapering of the hoppers ensures a comfortable fit when assembled with chutes, keeping dust to a minimum.

Fitting the top hopper

The top hopper sits inside a 500mm diameter rubbish chute. The chute that the top hopper sits in would be connected to the scaffolding via the fixing bracket (available at additional cost). The height of the hopper can be adjusted using the fixing bracket.

When assembled, each chute also sits 100mm inside the next; meaning they have a 1000mm working length. We recommend that for every 10 metres of chutes, an extra fixing frame is fitted to ensure safety. 

For example if you were working at the following heights;

• 10 metres = x10 chutes + x1 top hopper + x1 fixing bracket
• 20 metres = x20 chutes + x1 top hopper + x2 fixing brackets

When connected together, they become a flexible unit which provides a versatile chute system. 

All top hoppers are produced to the highest quality for complete safety in accordance with the ISO 9001 quality system, using only prime plastic.
