Rubbish Chute Side Entry Hopper - Compatible with 560mm Rubbish Chutes

Our rubbish chutes provide a safe and easy way to remove any waste or excess materials from building or construction sites. 

This side entry hopper can be connected to rubbish chutes at any level to provide multi-level entry for waste. It is fitted with a steel plate along with the opening which allows for waste to be tipped from wheelbarrows without damaging the hopper. 
 
The side entry hopper is manufactured from high-quality polyethylene plastic and is produced as a one-piece moulding. This material provides extremely strong and weather-resistant products that are resilient from abrasion and maintain rigidity in all conditions. The slight tapering of the side hopper ensures a comfortable fit when assembled with chutes, keeping dust to a minimum.

Connecting the side entry hopper to multiple chutes

The side hopper is designed to sit 100mm inside a 560mm diameter rubbish chute. Meaning it has a working length of 1100mm when assembled. 

It is recommended that for every 10 metres of chutes, an extra fixing frame is required to ensure safety. 

For example if you were working at the following heights;

• 10 metres = x9 chutes + x1 side hopper + x1 top hopper + x1 fixing bracket
• 20 metres = x19 chutes + x1 side hopper + x1 top hopper + x2 fixing brackets

When connected together they become a flexible unit which provides a versatile chute system.
