Post Mountable Open Top Litter Bin

The Glass Fibre Composite (GFC) post mountable litter bin is ideal for use in a wide variety of locations as it is extremely tough and durable and is unaffected by extreme temperatures, nor will it corrode if placed by the sea.

The bin is supplied with a galvanised steel liner with the option to upgrade to a lockable liner available. The bin comes with standard adjustable brackets to suit most post sizes and the optional screw seal strapping includes 2x 4ft stainless steel straps for post/rail mounting.

The GFC litter bins are available with a choice of either a textured, smooth or Victoriana finish. The textured finish uses PTX textured paint to give a rough finish not too dissimilar to sandpaper and is designed to prevent unwanted graffiti and posters being applied to the bin. The smooth finish uses a smoother pseudo-cast iron finish with only a slight texture and no roughness.

The Victoriana finishes uses the smooth finish with only a slight texture and no roughness with the addition of highlighted beading as standard to give a classic Victorian appearance. The Victoriana finish is a popular choice for heritage sites and town centres.

The bin comes complete with a ‘LITTER’ moulded plate highlighted in gold as standard.

A choice of two optional mounting posts are available:

Ground Fixing Post – This post is to be used when fixing directly to solid, hard standing or concrete. The post needs to be secured in place using RAWL bolts.

Tie Bar Grouting Post – This post is to be used when siting into wet concrete. The spikes hold the post firmly in place securing it into the ground.

Two types of strapping are available to secure the bin to the mounting post.
