The Middlesbrough 90 litre steel litter bin is one of our most popular bins and is widely used throughout the United Kingdom. It is a popular choice with councils and local authorities due to the durability and refined aesthetic.

The bin is fabricated using 2mm steel with an 8mm steel base welded to the walls to create a very strong, rigid and durable waste container. The bin is powder coated in your choice of our standard colours and, for a more classic appearance, can be fitted with gold or silver banding. If you require a colour that is not among our standard colours, please contact us as more colours are available upon request.

We offer a range of vinyl logos and text, which come pre fit to the bin. Laser cut logos & text are available in a wide choice of options - please contact us with your requirements.

We can also have your company or school logo, town crest or motif printed and applied to your bin. We would need you to send us a large size, good quality clean image and our helpful sales team will provide a quotation.

A key feature of this bin is the slam lock fitted as standard to the door. Slam lock is a stainless-steel lock that is easily opened using a square T key and closes with a push of the door against a spring-loaded boss. The door has full 90 degrees opening which makes removing the liner much easier when it requires emptying. The hinge system is a full length pivoted steel rod and is very reliable even after thousands of openings.

To allow the bin to be fixed to the ground using fixing bolts, each bin is supplied with a pre-drilled base.

A wide range of options including ashtrays, peaks lids and exterior finishes are available to tailor the bin to your exact requirements.

Pitched Lid

The MLB range of litter bins are available with a standard flat lid, or a pitched lid. The standard lid has a slightly kinked raised lid to allow rainwater to run off. The optional pitched lid discourages anti-social behaviour by not allowing people to sit on top of the bin or place rubbish on it.

Smoking Options

The circular EasyFit ashtray features a spring-loaded butterfly bottom for quick emptying in to the liner below. The standard ashtray top features a recessed drop area for cigarette and cigar butts.

A stainless-steel stubbing plate can be added to the bin lid and encourages smokers to use it, instead of the bin itself, to stub out their cigarette. The stubbing plate can be used alongside either ashtray option.

Other options such as poster cases, apertures, bird flaps and rat modifications are also available upon request.
