Details

These replacement FFP2V filters are designed for use with the JSP FilterSpec and FilterSpec Pro. They are made from three layers for exceptional performance and excellent respiratory protection against fibres, water/oil based mists and ferrous metal fumes.

The filters are simple to fit to the single use masks, with the FFP2V filtration offering 94% efficiency. They mould to your face shape for a tight-fitting face seal while the low resistance exhalation valve enables easy breathing and increased filter longevity.

FFP2V valved masks offer an assigned protection factor (APF) of 10 x workplace exposure limit (WEL).

Instructions For Use

1. To remove the old filter and fit the replacement filter follow the instructions supplied.
2. Do not enter the hazard area until the filter has been fitted correctly to the Filterspec®/Filterspec®pro frame and is worn correctly with a secure fit.
3. To check the fit, place both hands completely over the mask element and inhale vigorously. If air leaks at the edge, readjust the mask, manipulating the position of the mask and headband to affect an acceptable seal.
4. If a proper seal cannot be achieved do not enter the contaminated area.

What Dust Mask Do I Need?

It is important to consider the type and level of contaminants to which workers will be exposed. Once you have properly evaluated the airborne hazards in your workplace, you can begin to choose dust masks based on their FFP rating and suitability for the job.
