At room temperature some materials become viscous, making them harder to discharge from an intermediate bulk container (IBC). Some of these materials include syrup, sugar, and fats.
Due to the difficulty of discharging materials, it can result in waste products due to the thick viscosity not being able to leave the container.
Not only is it difficult but it can also become an expensive process unless you heat the IBC first to ensure the materials are smoother and less viscous.
Ideal for heating up:
- Water
- Oils and also diesel fuel
- Resin
- Vaseline
- Wax, e.g. lanolin (wool wax or wool grease)
- Fats
- Butters e.g. Ghee
- Glue and adhesive
An IBC heating jacket is a perfect solution to quickly and effectively heat up fluids and make them extremely easy to empty from a container with minimal to no waste.
The heater jacket comes with 2 thermostats that are adjustable from zero to 90 degrees celsius.
The jacket is designed to be durable and is made with a long-lasting, high-quality lightweight construction. With the quick release buckles, they make it easy to attach the heater jacket to any standard 1000 litre container.
Features:
- Polyurethane nylon jacket
- Water resistant
- Flame retardant
- Adjustable quick release buckles
The heater jacket can be used to heat a variety of liquids including water, resin, oil, diesel fuel and many other industrial fluids and allows them to be poured or pumped with ease.
For a faster and optimal heating process, we recommend using the IBC insulated top cover (sold separately). The cap easily attaches to the top of the container, reducing any loss of heat.
Please note the Insulated Lid is sold separately and is used for illustration purposes only.
