The sprung floor allows sand to fall back through the base of the hopper while still holding onto leaves and other debris found lying around the garden and paths.
A mechanism on the brush allows the sweeper to be driven into tight corners without scuffing the wheels on walls/kerbs etc.
Height adjustment is simple, and both wheels drive the brushes providing excellent pickup power, the the drive powered by gears.
A cover plate is also supplied with this to cover the floor for cases when you need to collect all debris (including sand).
