Our premium, UK made 200 litre grit salt bin is ideal for storing de-icing salt and grit salt to clear paths, car parks, driveways, etc from treacherous areas around residential properties and commercial premises.

Made from UV stabilised Medium Density Polyethylene (MDPE), it features an extra strong lid with double wall edges to prevent damage or deterioration. The base has a unique ribbed design, giving it extra strength. This bin will not discolour due to sun exposure and can be kept outdoors all-year-round.

This 200 litre grit bin is inter-stackable to offer space-saving storage throughout the summer months when not in use.

Each bin features a ‘Grit Salt’ label moulded into the lid of the bin, along with channels for lifting either with a pallet truck or a forklift. This ensures the grit box can be easily moved even when fully stocked with salt grit.

Optional Extras

The Multiscoop is a versatile tool that can be used to quickly and efficiently spread grit or salt. It is manufactured from tough and durable plastic and features an all in one, leak free design with integrated handle for ease of use. The Multiscoop is ideal for storing inside this grit bin and can hold up to 25kg of grit.

An optional telescopic shovel can be added, which includes a clip which will allow you to fasten the shovel to the inside lid of the grit bin for convenient storage (as shown in the image).

To ensure you are thoroughly prepared for winter, we can supply this grit bin with 200kg (8 x 25kg bags) of either brown or white salt.
