Eccotarp Collapsible Railway Spill Bund - 800 Litre

Designed to accurately fit between rail tracks (gauge 1435m) to ensure effective spill containment, this collapsible spill bund will safeguard the surrounding environment, persons and objects from trains and other rail vehicles that are leaking hazardous chemicals and liquids. Ideal for use during railway accidents, at train stations, in depots and near stationary loaded tank cars, it helps reduce operational downtime and prevent expensive clean-up costs.

This self-supportive product was developed to accurately copy the track gauge as well as to function without the support of the tracks. Stability is ensured by means of added side supports. It is fitted with side handles for easy handling and can be assembled quickly for immediate safety control and spillage protection.

This railway bund has a maximum load capacity of 200kg and is able to contain up to 800 litres of fuel and chemical spills. It is made from PVC with a protective proofing layer (PES/PVC 680 g/m²), while the corners can be completely unfolded to a flat surface to be washed for simple cleaning and maintenance.

A transport bag is also included to save space during transport and keep the bund safe from wear and tear when not in use.

Please Note: The temperature range for using the bund is from -30 °C to +70 °C. This is a specialist product made-to-order, hence the lead time of 4-6 weeks.

How Do I Install The Railway Bund?

There are two ways to place the tank under a train or other track vehicle: across the tracks or along them into the inner space between the tracks. Both methods passed very strict testing.
