What is deionised water?

Deionised water is a form of pure, clean water purified by removing atoms, ions, and molecules from tap water through an ion exchange process. Deionisation removes dissolved particles such as salt (sodium chloride), minerals, carbon dioxide, organic contaminants, and other impurities from water.

Deionised water has a wide range of uses, including industrial, hygiene, pharmaceutical purposes and food and drink production. With impurities removed, this high-quality product can prevent limescale building up, allowing extended lifespan for machinery and appliances.

Cosmetic grade

Our cosmetic grade deionised water passes through a 10-stage filtration system including ultraviolet filtration to ensure no microbiological components are within. The nuclear grade resin effectively eliminates ionic components to ensure optimal water purity. Cosmetic manufacturers utilise the water to dilute and thin a range of products including face creams, moisturise and soaps, maximising the shelf life.

Food and beverage grade

Our food and beverage grade option conforms to E.P standards and is recommended for use in any product that needs bacterial sterility control. The food and beverage grade water is used as a raw material in food manufacturing, processing, and machine sanitation. The food and beverage grade goes through a intensive unique ultraviolet filtration process ensuring no microbiological components are within, helping distilleries and food factories to preserve their products during production.

Hygiene grade

Our hygiene grade is often diluted into a variety of cleaning products such as detergents, sanitisers, and disinfectants. No microbiological components are left within due to our 10-stage filtration system that includes ultraviolet filtration.

Industrial grade

The Industrial grade of is an ideal solution for use with engine batteries and coolants. Also used in forklifts, machine maintenance and other sitewide processes make this grade of water ideal for a variety of applications in this sector.

Pharmaceutical grade

Our pharmaceutical grade is filtered to the highest degree and is suitable for work where the smallest levels of impurities would compromise a result. It is sterile and has a limited shelf life. It goes through an advanced 10-stage filtration system compared to the other grades, making it our purest grade. It is ideal for applications in instrument cleaning, calibration, autoclaves, and other laboratory purposes.

Our 16 x 25 litre jerry cans will be supplied securely banded with polypropylene strapping on a standard pallet.
