The stackable design and eco-friendly credentials of this 7 Cu Ft Grit Bin have proven to be very popular with residential properties, commercial premises and local authorities for the efficient storage of rock salt or ice melt.

Manufactured entirely from recycled material, the robust and UV-resistant polyethylene construction will not discolour or deteriorate through long term exposure to the elements.

The angled, hinged lid keeps snow and ice from settling on top of the salt bin, ensuring ease of use in winter weather.

Channels are included in the design to allow it to be easily manoeuvred with a forklift / pallet truck. This ensures it can be easily positioned, even when full of rock salt. Making it an excellent addition to any depot, warehouse, town centre, factory, bus station and more.

Their stackable feature offers compact storage during the summer months when not being used for storing grit / salt. 

Optional Extras

To keep your stock of grit salt safe and secure from theft, there is the option to add 2 x factory fitted hasp and staples (padlocks not included).

The optional Multiscoop is a versatile tool that can be used to quickly and efficiently spread grit or salt. It is manufactured from tough and durable plastic and features an all in one, leak free design with integrated handle for ease of use. The Multiscoop is ideal for storing inside this grit box and can hold up to 25kg of grit.

An optional telescopic shovel can be added, which includes a clip which will allow you to fasten the shovel to the inside lid of the grit bin for convenient storage (as shown in the image).

To ensure you are thoroughly prepared for winter, we can supply these salt bins with 200kg (8 x 25kg bags) of either brown or white salt. 

Please Note: If you add rock salt to your order, this will arrive in a separate delivery to the grit bin and within 10-15 working days.
