Our tapered water tanks are manufactured from 100% food grade polyethylene. This means they are suitable for the storage of drinking water. Polyethylene is a tough and durable material, available in a wide choice of colours, and is UV resistant and weatherproof.
Disclaimer - The manufacturer of this tank states that when being used for storing water, it is only suitable for storing 50% of the listed tank capacity, unless it is contained within a frame or supporting structure.
E.g. if the tank is located in the ground or surrounded by concrete, this will support the walls of the tank, allowing it be filled to its full capacity.
