3.5 Cu Ft Lockable Salt Bin - 125 kg Capacity

With a capacity of 110 litres (around 125 kg of salt) and stackable design, this 3.5 Cu Ft Grit Bin is ideal for busy environments where space is at a premium. It is also suitable for storing grit salt and ice melt outside residential properties and small business premises.

Constructed from durable and UV-resistant polyethylene, it will not deteriorate from long term exposure to the elements. Making it perfect for use in large or high traffic premises such as shopping centres, car parks, warehouses, factories and more.

Its hinged lid features a moulded “GRIT” logo and is angled to minimise the amount of snow and ice settling on top of the bin, ensuring ease of use in winter weather.

The design of this bin allows it to be easily manoeuvred via forklift or pallet trucks, which makes it easy to transport it even when full of rock salt.

​Optional Extras

To assist with spreading your grit salt, or for helping transfer it from your salt bin into your salt spreader, we can supply a plastic handheld scoop. The scoop measures 310 x 140 x 185mm..

Another add-on is our telescopic shovel, which includes a clip which will allow you to fasten the shovel to the inside lid of the grit bin for convenient storage (as shown in the image).

To ensure you are thoroughly prepared for winter, we can supply this grit box with 125kg (5 x 25kg bags) of either brown or white rock salt.
